A wrought iron and ash model of a Michaux Velocipede bicycle, c.1865, with bright yellow painted frame, H.4ft 3in. L.6ft 2in.

This is a replica Velocipede, we do not know who made it but it has been made as a full scale copy of an original. Brightly painted, frame looks to be in good order, wheels made of ash, the handle bar is possibly original, certainly the turn handles are old, it has also been suggested that the saddle might be original.
