Light surface star cracking marks showing to the top of the tray that appear to be part and parcel of it, gilding in good order as is the paintwork, a few small chips to the lower rim, two near 6 o'clock and one nearer 7, equally craquelure showing to the underside which again appears part and parcel of it, possibly an old repair to the top at 12 o'clock.
