The first vase has a large crack running from the centre right across the base which has been later repainted over to disguise it as a branch on the painted side with birds there is slight chip on the edge of one of the handles, there is a chip to the stem with an associated hairline crack, the second vase has some hairline cracks left to right from the handle to each side, and some later overpainting to match the over painted branch on the other vase, there is also a chip to the edge of one of the handles, as both of the vases have been later mounted as lamps presumably they have been drilled through the bases, cannot comment on the top rim or the edge of the foot as these are obscured.
