An Indian large lota-type brass repousse jar and cover, of bulbous form, inlaid, applied and cast with bands of deities in arcades, flowers and leaves in white metal and copper, height 16in (41cm) overall

Possibly a finial missing from the top of the lid, there is a small hole in the top, what remains of the finial is slightly bent to one side, a silver band running around the outside of the rim has a few nicks and flaws, slight wear and tear to the edge of the rim of the lid, main vase overall looks in very good order, has possibly a flaw running inside the rim although this might be wear the piece was joined in manufacture, slight denting to the raised Buddha's running around the sides. please see photographs for further details.
