The first bear jug with the figure of Napoleon wearing a green jacket has a complete replacement bear head cover done in papier mache or composite of some variety, the bear body / lower section has a chip and detached left arm to the figure of Napoleon otherwise just crazing to the glaze, the second bear jug has got a broken and reglued handle, restoration to the mouth, tongue and teeth of the bear, a loss to the collar of the bear, a crack down the back of the inner collar and the figure of Napoleon has a completely restored and rebuilt head which no longer has a hole for the spout, his lower limbs have been broken off and reglued with chip losses around the area.
