Estimate £300-500

Both pedestals have a good rich mid mahogany colour with fine figuring, both are a little faded to the front panels, one slightly more than the other, some light surface scuffing to the tops, signs that at one point something was screwed down to the them presumably cutlery urns or similar, these holes have now been plugged and these tops show signs of old French polish, original brass catches and small brass knob handles fitted to operate the doors, interiors are metal lined, slight dents and scratches scattered throughout from fair wear and tear but overall both in good condition.

Descriptions provided in both printed and on-line catalogue formats do not include condition reports. The absence of a condition statement does not imply that the lot is in perfect condition or completely free from wear and tear, imperfections or the effects of aging. Interested bidders are strongly encouraged to request a condition report on any lots upon which they intend to bid, prior to placing a bid.
