A Chinese famille rose shaped oval dish and a rectangular pen box and cover, mid 19th century, the dish painted with figures from Chinese legend with calligraphic inscriptions, 26.5cm, the box with a figure scene to the cover and fruit and flowers to the sides, internal divider, 18.5cm

The box and cover has an old splinter chip to one corner and a glaze flake to the edge of the box, otherwise in good condition.
The bowl has minor glaze imperfections, otherwise in good condition.
