An English delftware blue and white flower brick and a similar Delft flower brick, c.1760, the smaller English example painted with a Chinaman in a landscape, on shaped bracket feet, 12cm, the larger Delft flower brick painted with a boat in a river landscape, 16.2cm, the latter restored

The brick painted with a Chinaman to two sides has typical small chips and glaze losses around the edges, there are slightly more substantial chips to the corners of the feet and there is a small knock and hairline glaze crack going through the leg of one of the Chinese figures.
Dutch delft flower brick has restorations around the whole of the rim and on the corners, this has now discoloured so is easy to spot from the surrounding glaze.
The figure of the ram has restoration to his right horn and ear, general stained crazing across the whole figure, a few small shallow chips around the bottom edge.
Second figure of recumbent yew has a few firing cracks along the seam line of its back and head, chip losses to its left ear, slight firing crack underneath its chin and its hind right leg and some chips around the bottom edge but no restoration present.
