Oil on canvas which has been cleaned, relined and restored within the past 10 - 15 years, canvas remains tight and paint in good clean order, a fine but stable craquelure running throughout, signed at the top of the door perhaps with an indistinct date below it, some small areas of retouching notably the bottom right corner, and also across the top of the door frame in the top left, housed in a modern gilt frame which is in good condition, old Christies stencil number verso WK751 along with John Jones Conservation framing label.
