A Regency mahogany extending dining table, with moulded D end top and two spare leaves, on twin pedestals with moulded downswept legs and fitted brass caps and castors, Extends to 8ft 8in. x 4ft H.2ft 5in.

A Regency period table which has seen some adaption over the years, both D ends showing bleaching to the top with rubbing at the edges and light surface scratching, leaf looks to match but is of a richer redder mahogany colour, both D ends have a tilt mechanism to the underside with brass catches and show old iron loops to hold leaf bearers, these have now been superseded with mahogany supports for the central leaf, underside of the pillars show iron crosses, tops of the legs showing a little fading, original brass castors fitted, overall a handsome table that will require re-colouring and polishing to the top.
