A rare Kakiemon moulded blue and white plate, c.1750-80, relief decorated with two figures by a pavilion, possibly a scene from the Chinese story 'Romance of the Western Chamber', with calligraphic inscriptions in underglaze blue, running 'fuku' seal mark, 21cm , together with four Arita blue and white floral plates, 1750-1800, 16.5-21cm (5)

The principal plate with moulded decoration has some slight scratching to the glaze on the interior and minor imperfections to the glaze, the two larger plates in this lot are slightly mis-shapen and not flat, otherwise all of the plates and dishes in this lot are in good condition with no restoration, chips or cracks.
