Oil on a board which remains in good flat condition, paint rather dark and dirty with fine craquelure running throughout, the craquelure looking fairly broad and a little bubbly in the dark of his collar and the reds of his uniform, should clean to good effect, housed in an old giltwood frame which is in good order.
