An early 20th century Austrian Art Nouveau Wiener Werkstatte silver gilt circular pendant locket by Berthold Loffler, embossed with stylised figure of a putto with flambe torch, within a beaded border, 1.25in.

The gilding is beginning to wear on the raised parts of the decoration ie. arm, torch, facial features and shoulder etc. Some light surface scratches to the piece in general conducive with age and wear. Overall condition is otherwise good. Marks on back clear. The locket is in two pieces and the front slides to the sides to reveal locket recess. It moves quite freely so may be a little loose.
