A George III silver cake basket by Story & Elliott, with gadrooned border, fluted band and engraved armorial, on rectangular foot, London, 1812, 13.25in, 36.5 oz.

Large engraved armorial in centre of basket. There is a small split to the silver on the side of the handle near the top. A few minor dings to the silver towards the centre of the piece, otherwise the overall general condition is good, conducive with age and use. Hallmarks clear although some slight rubbing to the maker's mark.
