An early 20th century Arts & Crafts Scottish cabochon hardstone mounted brass and copper desk set, comprising and inkstand, blotter and pen tray, with engraved strapwork, blotter 11in.

There are no makers mark present on any of the pieces in the set, the blotter pad has some losses to each end of the spine and to the watered silk lining on the interior, the bell metal and brass top has probably been restuck, the other items have only minor losses to the engraving from polishing, the hinged cover to the inkwell has a few dents and some wear to the top rim and slight chipping to the top of the glass on the inside of the neck and the dish from which it stands has some slight denting to the edges, all with minor abrasions and nicks but generally in reasonable condition.
