Oil on canvas which looks to be the original, canvas is tight. A fine but stable craquelure running through background colour and jacket. 1 or 2 slight surface scuffs to paint, housed in a late 19thc giltwood frame which is in fair order and bares a later attribution plaque. Back of the canvas is inscribed with details of the sitter.
