A late 17th/early 18th century oak three-panel coffer, with carved linenfold frieze, on straight legs, W. 3ft 2in. D. 1ft 6in. H. 2ft.

Top of coffer fairly faded with some water stains and one split running through left top panel. Front and sides of a much darker colour. Central front panel showing slight gap down left side. Both side panels with horizontal splits running through them. Overall this coffer leans backwards slightly. The back legs having been reduced by approx 1inch. Bottom of cofferhgas been later replaced with fairly crudely fitted pine planks.
