A WWII Japanese katana, the blade with wavy hamon and incised seven character inscription to the tang 'Seki Ju Ishihara Michihiro saku' translating to Ishihara Michihiro living in Seki Province made this, the small stamp is that of the Seki Arsenal, with standard cherry blossom cast bronze WWII mounts and black lacquer scabbard, blade length to tsuba 68cm, together with accompanying notes from the former owner and reference books
