Oil on canvas in good original untouched condition, canvas with a very slight sag, paint starting to dry out a little, a craquelure running through much of the paint but most notably around the margins towards the top right corner there has been a little flaking and some of the paint is starting to lift, one flake of paint missing in the sky above the main rock, otherwise in need of a clean, signed lower right, housed in an overpainted original gilt gesso frame, no labels or inscriptions verso. Overall a handsome painting that will require some restoration to stabilise the paint and canvas.
