Watson, Joshua Rowley (1722-1818). An Autograph letter, 28th July 1809 to Thomas Howe, requesting a rendezvous of Howe's Ship "The Glamorgan" with Watsons Ship "HMS Inflexible" - "In case of separation from the convoy you are to proceed without a moments loss of time off Elsinore [Denmark]". This being for the transport of troops, to be assembled in July of 1809 prior to attack on Copenhagen, during the Napoleonic Wars, sheet 33 x 20in.
