A mid 18th century featherbanded walnut bureau, the fall enclosing fitted interior and well over two short and two graduated long drawers, on bracket feet, W.3ft D.1ft 7in. H.3ft 5in.

There are numerous old nicks around the piece in general. There is a small area of damge and moulding loss to the top left rear corner of the top.
Some minor veneer loss to the edges of the slant. Some small patch repairs to the veneer on the slant and front of chest. Some visible surface splits to the veneer of the side panels and top.
There is some minor damage to the front of two of the interior shelves behind the slant. The two long drawer bases have splits. There is a large piece of moulding missing from above one of the long drawers. One handle is missing.
Overall condition is fairly good, conducive with age and use.
