Captain Walter Kerr. A collection of medals including Royal Canadian Humane Association 1909 comprising WW1 trio to Capt. W.R.Kerr with medal of French Gratitude on the bar, bronze Royal Canadian Humane Association to Howard Kerr (his son) for the rescue of Effie Dunlop at Caribou Lake in 1909, two unamed Army Rifle Association medallions, Italy Order of the Crown, Royal Guelphic Order and a BWM to Pte Ratcher ASC.

The medals of Captain Kerr's son Lieutenant-Colonel Sir Howard Kerr, 11th Hussars, Aide-de-Camp to Viscount Fitzalan, Lord Lieutenant of Ireland 1921-22; and Equerry, Comptroller, and Extra Equerry to H.R.H. the Duke of Gloucester, 1924-74 were sold by Dix Noonan in 2002 and Spink USA in January of this year. An identical RCHA medal was included (with bar and Spink case).
