A mid 20th century gold, asscher cut diamond and sapphire set dress ring, the central diamond with the approximate dimensions of 8.3mm by 7.7mm by 5.7mm and bordered with shaped cut sapphires, in S.J. Phillips, New Bond Street box, size H.

The shank is unmarked. There is no visible damage to the diamond. A few of the sapphires have minute nibbles to the edge of the table facet and one sapphire appears to have a small hairline crack across the table. Overall condition is otherwise good. The colour and clarity assessed within the mount is very approximmately estimated as J/K and SI1/SI2. The visible inclusions are: Two small black inclusions just by the left edge of the table facet and what appears to be a brown tinted feather? on the opposing side towards the bottom right of the stone. The stone is displaying a medium/strong fluorescence.
