A 19th century French ormolu and jewelled Sevres style porcelain clock garniture, the mantel clock with urn surmount and floral swags, decorated with bacchic putti and classical vignettes, with Japy Freres movement, 19in. with a pair of urns and covers decorated with ladies and gallants, 14in.

Extreme top of the urn to the clock has cracks running through the porcelain, ormolu mounts form the handles to the urn are slightly wobbly, foot of the urn has been broken through and restuck, elsewhere and overall ormolu is in good condition retaining the original finish which is now slightly matted, other than the mentioned damage to the top and bottom of the urn, porcelain elsewhere is all good. A little rubbing to some of the gilding and some of the jewelled spots have been lost, equally the dial has lost one or two jewelled spots as have the smaller side panels which now have no jewelling at all, movement complete comes with key and pendulum but not tested for timekeeping, both urns in similar condition with regard to ormolu, porcelain all good, some wear to gilding of porcelain and approx. 50% of the jewelling has been lost from around the main panels and almost all the jewelling lost from the covers.
