A Tete Jumeau bisque head doll. c.1900, with blue paperweight sleeping eyes, pierced ears, open mouth with four upper teeth, auburn wig, impressed marks 'DEP. 10' otherwise unmarked, the composition body with ball-jointed arms and legs, cream silk and lace dress, 61cm

Head in good condition, glued on wig has not been removed but is all untouched although looking rather dirty, eyelashes missing from left eye, both eyes equally looking very dirty, unstamped composition body with hardwood hands, right hand is worn but in tact, left hand is missing most of the fore finger and has a lot of flaking. Feet are composition but appear undamaged, dress is an old lace dress certainly is of appropriate age but we are not sure if it is an original dress or not. No cracks, chips or restorations noted to the head, no chips to the bisque at the back of the neck, facial painting all looks good.
Pate now removed and internal inspection confrims condition as stated above.
