A large Chinese celadon ground 'dragon' vase, Daoguang period (1821-50), painted in underglaze blue and enamel colours, with two dragons chasing a flaming jewel amid clouds, butterflies and flowers, white flowerhead and gilt borders, the neck with a pair of zoomorphic profile handles, 59.3cm

There are areas of high quality restoration to both side of the neck each side of the handles, and to an area of the rim, there is no apparent restoration beneath the shoulder of the vase and there are some hairline star cracks to the base beneath, otherwise good.
