A Louis Majorelle 'Chicoree' pattern walnut and marquetry buffet, the raised back with two bevelled glazed doors and open shelf, over two drawers and floral marquetry panelled doors, W.7ft 4in. D.1ft 10in. H.6ft 6in.

Overall very good original untouched condition, some slight separation of the carcass due to temperature changes over the years, this shows as a very slight separation in the frame just to the left of the central carved panel of the back, all glazing is the original bevelled glass although the glass shelves are missing from both sides, no keys present, brass surround to keyhole on the left glazed door missing, main top shelf of the cabinet is faded, stained and worn from typical use, two marquetry panels both in good order with good colour differentation and Majorelle signature on the right door, some water splashing showing across the base, both understages have been effected by damp and the veneers are lifting away and missing towards the inner back corners. Plinth is faded and worn commensurate with age.
