A pair of large Mason's ironstone chinoiserie vases and covers, c.1825, each printed in black and over-enamelled with pavilions in Chinese river landscape scenes, the necks and shoulders applied with a pair of twin dragon handles, black printed Masons Patent Ironstone China Marks, 54.5cm (slight damage)

Slight wear to gilding.
On the first vase one of the pink serpents has become detached and has been re-stuck with some restoration around the tail, there is slight firing crack to the inside of the neck, not bvisible on the exterior, slight firing crack around the base which is not visible from the interior where it is over glazed, there is a crack to the cover extending from the sleeve half way up.
Second vase has two stained firing cracks to the inside of the neck, not visible on the exterior, otherwise in good condition.
