Lot 204 , A Chinese small pale celadon jade seal, 4.4cm
A Chinese small pale celadon jade seal, surmounted by the carved figure of a rabbit with a russet skin inclusion to its rear, 4.4cm
Estimate £120-180
Provenance: Collected by the vendor's grandmother in Hong Kong or on her travels in mainland China before 1950.
Tip of the rabbits left ear feels a bit sharp but it is difficult to say if this is in the carving or if it has a minute chip to it, the back of the rabbit has a russet inclusion and there is other natural veining to the stone.
