A Victorian textured silver Askos jug by John Hunt & Robert Roskell, with applied cast goat surmounts and pierced acanthus leaf capped handle with cherub below, the foot rim stamped " Hunt & Roskell late Storr & Mortimer 6189", London, 1872, 8.5in, 32.5 oz.

There is a large dent just above the base towards the bottom of the handle. There are two smaller dents, one to the base of the front and one to the side. Some minor wear to the facial features on the cherub at the base of the handle otherwise the overall general condition is good. Hallmarks clear.
