Oil on original canvas which bows quite prominently outwards, and has come away from stretcher particularly on lower left side but otherwise appears to be in good condition, a rather brownish looking varnish which has been applied which has pooled in the thicker impasto areas, this would benefit from cleaning, signed and dated lower left, heavily inscribed by the artist verso, now in a fairly recent moulded gilt frame which is in good condition.
