Attributed to Gillows of Lancaster. A Regency mahogany dwarf bookcase, with three frieze drawers over central open shelves flanked by cupboards, with ring turned fluted columns on turned feet, W.6ft 10in. D.1ft 3in. H.3ft 1in.

Small old nicks, dent and scratches to the top commensurate with age, top is an even colour but slightly faded and less rich that the front, the drawers are oak lined, two thin strips of cockbeading are loose to the middle drawer, one is coming away but still attached, the other is inside the drawer, approx a 2.5 inch section of plain beading is missing from the bottom left corner, the drawers have oak sides but pine bases and backs, original key works both locks of the top side drawers, further small sections of cockbeading missing from around the panelling of both doors and a little to both side drawers, both door locks have been replaced probably about 100 years ago and have a working key, there is a separation in the panelling at the back of the open bookcase section, right hand side has some holes dents and knocks, overall however a good piece of furniture in honest condition.
