A later Victorian silver and polychrome enamel cigarette case by Heinrich Levinger, of rounded rectangular form, with later engraved inscription, the lid decorated with a young maiden amongst stylised flowers, Birmingham, 1899, gross 3.5 oz.

There is damage/loss to the enamel in the top left corner of the panel. There are also numerous sirface scratches and tiny nicks to the enamel, in line with age and use. En verso, there is a small crease shaped dent near the top. There is also a smaller dent further down, just below the inscription. The back also has numerous light surface scratches, conducive with age and use. The gilding on the interior is quite worn, however, the hallmarks are clear.
