Overall outer case looks to be in good condition, probably having been repolished within the past 20 years or so, varnish to the top of the lid has a slightly clouded appearance, some of the lacquering to the brass work is now looking a little pitted, ivory escutcheon plaque to the front looks like a later replacement, internally all in very good clean condition, probably having been restored at some point in its life, a few minor oxidisation specks on the dial also various dirt marks on the glass, movement is going but not tested for timekeeping, comes with presumably the original winding key, movement is not signed or numbered, comes with a Thomas Mercer repair certificate dated 1979. Case key looks rather pitted.
