An early 20th century American? sterling silver mounted glass combination inkwell/ pocket watch holder, height 3.75in.

An early 20th century American? sterling silver mounted glass combination inkwell/ pocket watch holder, of square form, with George V silver pocket watch, stamped Sterling 925, height 3.75in.
Estimate £120-160

The pocket watch may not be original to the piece as there are pieces of felt in the lid to help it fit more snuggly. The watch itself ticks when wound. We cannot guarantee any of the watches to be in working order. The dial has two hairline cracks also. The inkwell itself appears to be in generallty good order. There are some very minor nibbles/chips to the glass angles in general around the body and we cannot see around the interior of the glass rim, so unsure as to whether or not there maybe some damage.
