Oil on canvas relined in the past 10 - 20 years or so, canvas remains tight, slight stretcher marks showing along with a number of small scattered fine dents that just go into the paint, showing as white marks most notably across the top of the work, possibly the hint of an inscription or signature in the top right corner, paint a little dirty and would benefit from a light clean.
James Guthrie signature in the lower right, does not show up under our UV. No labels or inscriptions verso.
Been sent for sale from a private collection in Southern Spain, no further provenance known.
