A large Chinese rosewood stand, late 19th / early 20th century, the lobed border carved and pierced with ruyi heads, on five shaped bracket feet, 39.5cm diam.

Stand is slightly warped and two feet do not touch the floor when standing, the upper dish of the stand is lacking and it still has an inset suitable for a large vase, or jardiniere, there are age splits and cracks to the timber particularly around the frieze and feet, otherwise good condition.
