Pencil on old buff coloured paper which shows a horizontal crease mark running straight through the middle of the work, paper is a buffish tone and looks to be laid down on an old paper backing which has washline margins otherwise the work itself has a number of small scattered dirt specks, some fox marking and further horizontal creasing approx 2 inches up from the base, judging from the execution of the work I would say that the work is 19th century, it is housed under glass in an old tatty Hogarth frame.
