Lot 367 , A Chinese lacquered rosewood ruyi sceptre, 41cm

A Chinese lacquered rosewood ruyi sceptre, 41cm

A Chinese lacquered rosewood ruyi sceptre, carved as a sprig of lingzhi fungus, the head carved in high relief with two lizards (one head lacking), 41cm

One of the lizards is lacking a head, there are a few occasional small cracks to the wood, it is possible that the sceptre is a modern copy.
