A French Louis XIV stained and carved beech high back open armchair, the scrolled arms with acanthus leaf carvings, with S scroll foot rails and scrolled supports

Some movement on the back and could probably do with tightening up slightly, back leg has been broken and repaired at some point in the past, carved foot rail is a replacement, there are other general scuffs and marks particularly around feet and other age associated wear in places as you would expect, generally average. There is also a break on the right arm close to where it joins the upright back, most of this is now obscured by the fabric.
