An ornate pair of late Victorian silver fruit baskets. of rectangular form, with fixed handles, pierced border and engraved and embossed with foliate decoration, on scroll feet, Martin, Hall & Co, Sheffield, 1899, 11.25in, (rim a.f.), 39 oz.

One basket has nine small splits around the rim. It also has a piece of the scroll work, present but has broken off. There also appears to be an old small repair by on of the handle bases where it joins the body. Marks clear.
The other basket has at least 4 splits around the rim. Marks clear.
