A George III pair cased repousse silver gilt keywind verge pocket watch for the Dutch market, by J.Tarts, London, the outer case decorated with classical scene, the ornate silvered Arabic and Roman dial with putto centre and signed movement with pierced foliate cock and numbered 6964, the inner case with engraved inscription with masonic symbol.
Estimate £400-600

There is a small hole to the case back within the decoration. The inner case back is engraved MF with a masonoc symbol and the date 1777. The dial and glass appear to be in good order, conducive with age and use. The glass cover doesn't quite sit flush with the body when closed. The movement appears complete. One of the pillars has a pitted surface ( minor damage). The watch ticks then stops. We cannot guarantee any of the watches to be in working order.
