A late 19th/early 20th century French four piece silver tea and coffee set, of spiral baluster form, with engraved armorial, Martial Gauthier, Paris, together with a similar chocolate pot (unmarked) and sucrier, different armorial, maker's mark rubbed, gross 44.5 oz.

Tallest piece- There is a small dent around the side of the base. There are a few small dents/dings to the underside of the base. There are a few minor dings around the main body in general. There is also a small dent within the decoration on the lid.
Small teapot- Engraved armorial quite tired. Gauge of silver at this point is a little thin so there may have been a removal. There are a couple of small dents around the baluster section of the pot. There asre a few knocks and dings to the underside of the base. There is an old repair on the top of the base of the spout (visble solder). Marks to base quite rubbed.
Small hot water pot- Lid does not close flush with the body. There are a few very minor knocks to the handle and the underside of the base. Marks on base quite rubbed.
Two handled sucrier with cover- There is a large dent to the side of the base. The lid is quite loose in situ. Marks quite clear although maker's mark a little rubbed. The finial on the lid has been pushed down slightly.
Two handled sucrier with cover on legs- Lid quite loose in situ. There is a small dent to the interior rim of the lid. There are also a few knocks and dings around the exterior rim of the lid. There a couple of small dings on the underside of the base. There are a couple of minor dents around the main body. Marks quite rubbed.
Small cream jug- There is a large dent, a smaller dent and several small dings around the belly of the jug. Maker's mark quite rubbed.
