Pastel on paper in good condition, almost all appearances of dirt is on the glass rather than the work itself, there are one or two very tiny dark spots scattered here and there, no sign of any signature, under glass in an ornate 19th century giltwood scroll frame which has suffered some minor fritting and damage to the lower left corner, title of the sitter inscribed on the frame, the back sealed with a more recent piece of board.
