A Chinese cloisonne enamel tripod censer and cover, c.1910, the lobed body decorated with lotus flowers and scrolling leaves on a black ground, flanked by a pair of copper lion mask ring handles, on three mythical beast shaped feet, the domed cover with lion-dog finial, height 15.5cm, together with the original ebonised wood trefoil shaped stand

A dent to the rim of the censer with losses to the cloisonne enamel, the cover is slightly mis-shapen, there are no apparent losses to the enamel on the exterior, but a few cracks and splinters to the blue enamel on the interior. Wood stand has one re-glued foot.
