A large Chinese famille verte beaker vase, Gu, Kangxi period, painted with a bird and insects amid rockwork and flowers, with keywork and diaper pattern bands and borders, 44.5cm, 11 x 3.5cm section of rim lacking

There is a 11cm x 3.5cm section of the rim lacking above the blue and white bird perched on rockwork, to the left of this is a splinter to the glaze, the inside of the rim and neck has a slight discoloured speckle to the glaze in the firing, there is some occasional flaking to the blue enamels, in particular to two of the pom pom shaped flowers on the neck, one flower on the bulbous centre and to one pom pom shaped flower at the base, otherwise good condition.
