An Italian Venetian blackamoor pricket candlestick, the gilt and polychrome painted figure standing on a gondola and holding a key, on a circular base, 31in.

The key from his left hand is now loose and one or two of his fingers are missing, there is a repair to his left ankle, a minor repair along the gondola, some areas of repainting and regilding in places, there are minor losses generally all over, a few around the nose and cheeks and around the base as expected, generally reasonable condition, quite decorative.
