A set of twelve George III silver pistol handled table knives, with acanthus leaf capped scroll terminals, John Winter?, Sheffield, circa 1790, most marks rubbed, with later blades, 9.5in.

All handles are showing signs of wear along with minor dings and nicks, conducive with use and age. Three of the knives have splits to the handles and four other knives have visible replairs in the form of patches. Marks mostly rubbed as described.
