A set of twelve George III silver pistol handled dessert knives, with acanthus leaf capped scroll terminals, John Winter?, Sheffield, circa 1790, most marks rubbed, with later blades, 8.5in.

All of the knives have signs of wear to the handles, along with tiny nicks and dings, conducive with use and age. Six of the knives however have small splits to the handles and three have visible repairs in the form of small patches. Marks mostly rubbed as described.
