A Victorian morocco bound photograph album, the front with silver mounted onyx cover, with central carved hardstone floral wreath, hallmarks for George Betjemann & Sons, London 1884, with coloured frontispiece inscribed 'Presented to Mr Alderman and Sheriff Whitehead and Mrs Whitehead upon their silver wedding day, May 30th 1885', 11.5 x 9.5in.

The onyx panel to the front cover is loose and will need re-attaching, there is an area of damage that has been repaired in the past to the right hand corner, please refer to images on website. Minor areas of the green hardstone leaves missing in places, minor chips to some of the high points, the silver mounts appear to be in reasonable condition but will need cleaning, morocco spine and back cover are in reasonable condition with general scuffs and marks consistent with use, there is also a small chip to the top edge of the onyx panel, various staining and foxing to the interior leaves.
